NFL Week 6 schedule, line snapshot and three matchups to watch
Week 6 runs from Thursday, October 15 through Monday, October 19. This public preview records three current market numbers and explains what those numbers mean. It does not reveal EdgeLine member forecasts, model probabilities or official picks.
Sources: game dates and kickoff times are from the official NFL Week 6 schedule. Spread and total snapshots are from VegasInsider's Week 6 odds page, last updated October 13, 2026 at 12:40 a.m. Lines can move and may differ by sportsbook. Kickoff times below are Eastern.
Full NFL Week 6 schedule
Seahawks at Broncos — 8:15 p.m.
Texans at Jaguars — 9:30 a.m. (London)
Commanders at 49ers — 8:15 p.m.
Cincinnati, Detroit, Miami and Minnesota are on bye. Verify the official schedule before kickoff because broadcast details can change.
Seahawks at Broncos — Thursday, 8:15 p.m. ET
Seattle −2.5 covers with a win by three or more. A move to −3 changes the grading of an exact three-point result from a win to a push, so the current number and attached price matter together. The 40.5 total is a separate market and should not be treated as support for either side of the spread.
What to check: confirm the latest injury designations, weather and whether the market crosses three. The common-spread grading table shows how −2.5 and −3 settle differently. Movement is evidence that the price changed, not proof of which team will cover.
Panthers at Eagles — Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET
At Philadelphia −1.5, an Eagles win by two or more covers; a one-point win does not. A short spread also means that a small move can materially change the relationship between the market and an independent fair-line estimate.
What to check: monitor final player availability and compare the number available at decision time with this October 13 snapshot. EdgeLine's model evaluation checklist explains why injuries, team efficiency and the exact market line should be reviewed together. Current member forecasts remain behind the membership gate.
Commanders at 49ers — Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET
San Francisco −7.5 requires a win by eight or more to cover. At −7, a seven-point win would normally push; at −7.5, it loses. That half-point around the key margin of seven is why a recommendation without its exact saved number is incomplete.
What to check: verify late-week personnel news and whether the market moves back through seven. After the game is final, use EdgeLine's tracked results to review any saved official recommendation against its original line rather than a later number.
