What influences a total

• Offensive and defensive scoring profiles
• Quarterback availability and material injuries
• Pace, expected game script and matchup efficiency
• Weather conditions that may affect passing or kicking
• Rest, travel and movement from the opening total

Reading the projection

If the fair total is above the sportsbook total, the measured direction is Over. If it is below, the direction is Under. The size of the difference contributes to the recommendation tier, but corroborating signals and adverse movement can affect the final label.
