How to use the free NFL game simulator
- Choose an upcoming matchup. Start with the available NFL games and review the projection shown for your selection.
- Build your scenario. Select a game winner, point spread, total, or a combination. You can change the spread or total to explore an alternate line.
- Run the combination. The tool counts how often all your selections happen in the same 100,000 simulated games.
- Compare the price. Enter the actual American odds offered for that exact combination to compare the model estimate with the offered price. Whole-point pushes can prevent a price comparison.
Is this NFL simulator free?
Yes. The simulator requires no sign-in. Current official forecasts and member picks are separate from the scenarios you explore here. You can also read the completed NFL results and model methodology publicly.
Can I simulate an NFL same-game parlay?
You can combine a winner, spread and total from one game. Each combination is evaluated against the same simulated scores, rather than multiplying the individual probabilities. This version does not include player props or model player-level correlations.
Does running 100,000 simulations make a pick accurate?
More draws reduce sampling noise within the model assumptions. Accuracy still depends on the projections, data and uncertainty settings. These experimental scenarios are not official plays and do not change EdgeLine’s pick record.
